The 2025 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 3 Band Festival was held on January 23-25 in the IHS auditorium. Students from Indiana, Armstrong, Jefferson, Clarion, Venango, and Forest counties all sent selected students to the ensemble of 154 students. The group was under the direction of recently appointed IUP Marching Band Director, Ms. Cassidy Nalepa. IHS had 14 musicians selected to the ensemble! Students rehearsed and presented a public performance on January 25th to nearly 600 attendees. Additionally, students auditioned to move onto the Region Festival held at United High School in March.
