IHS participates in PMEA District 3 Band Festival

The Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) hosted the District 3 Band Festival at West Shamokin High School. IHS was well represented by the following nine students:

Audrey Yang - Flute

Lily Adams - Clarinet

Zaliyah Covey - Clarinet

Samantha Lawson - Clarinet

Sam Knepper - Trumpet

Abigail Jozefowicz - Trumpet

Jocelyn Santoro - Trumpet

Zayne Hostetter - Euphonium

Adam Lawrence - Tuba

The 145 piece ensemble was directed by guest conductor Dr. Greg Martin who is currently the director at West Chester University. The students worked with Dr. Martin throughout the festival and directors participated in professional development. Congratulations to all on a fantastic performance and festival!
